Vernacular Architecture December 4, 2006 If you came to Ethnoarchitecture.com looking for a definition of vernacular architecture, I have assembled some specifically for the website. I wrote two, a short one and a long one, that relate this concept to sustainability. And I have an extra one that relates it to language. That one is part of the glossary of ethnoarchitecture-related terms (look for "vernacular architecture" at the bottom of the page). About this article This is a "re-director" to refer to the right pages the many visitors who come to the website looking for a definition of vernacular architecture.
